Mountain Heritage Center

The permanent exhibition features the 18th century migration of the Scotch-Irish to the New World where they settled across Western North Carolina. The museum celebrates the rich heritage of the Southern Appalachian region with traveling exhibitions, educational programs and demonstrations.
