Chief Logan State Park – Shawnee Living History Trail

October 4 – 6, 2006 – Open to 4th grade school tours – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

October 7 – 8, 2006 – Open to the public. – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Go on a journey back in time and experience what southwestern Virginia was like more than 200 years ago. Actors and “Buckskinners” on the trail and in the encampment will portray characters from the 1780s to the 1800s. The encampment will feature daily frontier living and exhibits by craftsmen and artisans from the period. Admission is $2.00.
