Statehouse Art & Architecture Tours

The Ohio Statehouse opens its doors to art aficionados during the Columbus Art Festival. Guides of the Statehouse Education & Visitors Center will offer visitors the option of guided tours focused on the art and architecture of the Statehouse. Visitors can see the Grand Staircase of the Senate building, modeled after the Paris Opera House. They may view priceless historic art and artifacts, striking marble mosaics and magnificent vaulted ceilings and stone columns. Tours are free. Groups of 10 or more should schedule in advance by contacting Barry Hayden at 614-728-2695.
