The Switzerland of Ohio Black Walnut Festival is held at the Monroe County Fairgrounds in Woodsfield, Ohio. This logging festival features a lumberjack contest, horseshoe tournament, a banjo/fiddle contest, antique auction and car show, as well as demonstrations and craft displays. Lots of great food including apple butter made over the open fire and famous black walnut fudge. Entertainment and parking are free. Daily admission.
