This contest is the only officially recognized fiddle contest in Illinois. the contest began in 1965 and has a long list of amazing fiddle players. This includes three time winner Alison Krauss and six time winner Chlores Worlow. We welcome fiddlers of all ages to showcase their ablilities and spectators to come and watch the show. The reason for our organization is to preserve the old time fiddle music and pass it on to future generations. We would love to have contestants from all over the state. If you play a fiddle, or know someone who does, please pass this info along and encourage them to enter the contest.
