Knox County Adventure Days & Ranch Rodeo

6:00 p.m. Ranch Rodeo – The Munday Fire Department will host the first night of their ranch rodeo at the Munday arena.

Saturday, April 28, 2012
All Day – Munday Trade Days – Munday Events Center – Shop til you drop at Munday Trade Days.

8:00 a.m – 5K Fun Run & Walk – Hosted by the Knox City Chamber of Commerce. 940-658-3442. Check in at the Country Club Golf Course. Registration fee of $25. $15 for 14 and under.

9:00 a.m. – Registration opens at the Munday Events Center (MEC) for Geo Cache Adventure, Photography Scavenger Hunt, Bus Tours and Amazing Grace Race opens.
9:00 – 4:00 – Geo Cache Adventure – Self paced adventure! Pick up your list of geo locations at the MEC, check out a gps machine and go treasure hunting.

9:30 a.m – Knox County Tour – Hop aboard and see the sights of Knox County. An air conditioned bus will depart the MEC at 10:00 a.m. and return at 12:00. Tour guide is Bobby Burnett. Tour cost is $5 for adults and kids 12 and under are free.

10:00 a.m. – Amazing Grace Race – Teams of 2 need to be in place and ready to begin the race at the MEC.

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Fireman’s Hamburger Lunch – Tickets are $6.00. The lunch will be held at the MEC. The lunch is come and go until all the food is gone. All proceeds benefit the four fire departments in Knox County.

1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Photo Scavenger Hunt – Grab your camera and team mates for a fun scavenger hunt. All teams must be registered by 1:00 p.m. and all photos are due by 4:00 p.m.

2:00 p.m. – Knox County Tour – Hope aboard and see the sights in Knox County. A bus will depart the MEC at 2:00 and return at 4:00. Tour guide is Bobby Burnett. Tour cost is $5 for adults and kids 12 and under are free.

6:00 p.m. – Ranch Rodeo – The Munday Fire Department will host the second night of their ranch rodeo at the Munday arena.

9:00 p.m – Dance the night away to Cameran Nelson and Guardrail Damage Ahead. Doors open at 9 and the dance begins at 10. (camerammelson.com)
