Hat Tales – Remembering the Iowa Hat Lady

Clarion, Iowa – Heartland Museum will host “Hat Tales” at the Heartland Museum Community Room in Clarion, Iowa on July 29, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The event is free to attend and light refreshments will be served.

Alvina Sellers, named “Iowa’s Hat Lady”, was from Clarion. She gave many presentations on her 6,000 plus collection of hats. Some of her hats are on display in the museum in Alvina’s Hat Parlor and Millinary rooms. Join us as we remember her entertaining programs, “wear your best hat!”
