Homme Lake
Homme Dam and Lake are located on the South Branch of the Park River. If you are looking for a place to catch largemouth bass, walleye, crappie, or pike, then Homme Lake is the place for you.
At this beautiful 194-acre lake in the middle of the prairie you can enjoy canoeing, water skiing, boating and fishing. The Walsh County Park Board operates a park near the dam that provides facilities for boat launching, camping and picnicking. 200 acres of surrounding land, managed by the Corps of Engineers, is open to hunting, hiking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.
