Tapoco Lodge Resort

Tapoco Lodge was built in 1930 by Alcoa(Aluminum Company of America), and is the oldest lodge in Graham County. The facility sits on 120 acres bounded on the east by Cheoah River and on the other sides by the Nantahala National Forest and Slickrock Wilderness Area. Fontana Dam, Cheoah Dam and Santeetlah Dam are all within 15 miles, as is the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Cherohala Skyway and Chief Junaluska’s Grave.Facilities include: tennis court, swimming pool, childrens’ playground, game room. Canoes available for rent
