Bullhead City Hiking

Bullhead City offers some of the finest desert hiking in the world. From grapevine Canyon to Secret Pass, hikers are sure to find days of rugged wilderness hiking. Most of the hiking in the area is for serious and/or experienced hikers. The hiking areas do not have restroom facilities, drinking water or first-aid. You are on your own when hiking in these remote, yet extremely beautiful areas.

You are welcome to walk, hike, hunt and horseback ride on most public lands in the area. There are very few established trails in the area and almost all travel is cross country or on wild burro trails. This type of rugged travel demands that you have good boots, a map (and skill to use it) and lots of water.

Wilderness areas, special roadless areas designated by Congress, offer an area for you to experience the west as it was a hundred years ago, without roads or mechanical interruptions.
