Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and The RainForest

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, founded in 1882, is one of the oldest and largest zoos in the United States. Located on 168 rolling, wooded acres just minutes from downtown Cleveland, the Zoo is home to thousands of animals representing more than 600 species.

Be sure to visit The Sarah Allison Steffee Center for Zoological Medicine, providing world-class care for all the Zoo’s animals.

The RainForest – a 2 acre, two-level exhibit showcasing the jungles of Africa, Asia and the Americas. Australian Adventure – an 8 acre Australian-themed, interactive children’s area (seasonal), Northern Trek featuring Wolf Wilderness; Primate, Cat & Aquatics; African Savanna; Pachyderm Building and the Public Greenhouse.
