Fiber College on Penobscot Bay

Gather with friends old and new for forty low cost art classes, and free demonstrations/ lectures geared towards fiber’holics of all skill levels. Classes are small, diverse and casual. Subjects range from basketry, knitting, beading and quilting to needle arts, felting, spinning and rug making. A shopper’s boulevard will be open for purchasing finished goods, roving and yarns, kits, supplies and freshly prepared food. Fiber animals will be on display and specialists will be available to discuss animal selection, care and other concerns. The campus is spread over 40 acres on Penobscot Bay with easy ocean access. Camp on site or in a variety of accommodations within a 10 minute radius.
