Goose Route Arts Collaborative – New Live Arts

October 19.
New Live Arts (NLA), informal showings of new works and works-in-progress, organized by the Goose Route Arts Collaborative, features the work of six performing artists on Friday, October 19. The showing begins at 6:00 pm at the Shepherdstown Train Station, Audrey Egle Drive, Shepherdstown, and lasts approximately 1 hour. An opportunity to ask questions and give feedback to the artists follows the showings.
Artists performing on October 19 are poet Earl Hairston, dancer Beth Burkhardt, musicians Curt and Dani Seiss, performance artist Jane Ping, dancer Ginger Wagg, and Rob Northrup and Ramsong, the Shepherd University Men’s Chorus.
Audiences at NLA showings have the opportunity to observe the creative process unfold and to ask artists questions about their work. This is a great way to learn more about the performance arts and to see how an artist takes a piece from inception to completion. There is no charge to attend, and no reservations are required.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: I-81 to Martinsburg and exit at Route 9/Queen Street East. Take a left onto Route 45 (Moler Avenue) to Shepherdstown. Route 45 becomes German Street in Shepherdstown. The War Memorial Building is halfway down the street on the right, at the intersection of King Street. On-street parking is available.
