Greenbrier Valley Theatre – Sly Fox
Comedy by Larry Gelbart – June 21*, 22, 23, July 1(two shows), 8, 13, 19, 21, 29, August 2, & 3.
This side-splitting farce by the author of M.A.S.H. depicts a day in the life of Foxwell J. Sly, who tries to convince the town he’s dying so he can safely walk away with all the gold he’s fleeced the townspeople out of. Based on Ben Jonson’s early 17th-century play Volpone and updated to late 1800s San Francisco, Sly Fox is a riotous look at the absurdity of greed.
