Hoover Historical Center
Walk down memory lane amid elegant Victorian decor in the Hoover family home located on orginal family farmland. Amid elegant Victorian decor, the Hoover legacy is preserved complemented with vintage ladies fashions and accessories. The "Sweeping Changes" display in the boyhood home of Hoover Company founder William Hoover traces the history of the Hoover family and cleaning devices with a focus on Hoover vacuum cleaner technology. Antique cleaning devices, manual vacumms, advancements in Hoover technology and vintage ads. War memorabilia is also exhibited. Interactives available throughout the tour. A variety of floral garnish is available for viewing including linens, glassware, family china and a bridal display.
