May Museum and Park

The museum, located on the National Register of Historic Places – Farmville Historic District, chronicles the cultural and commercial heritage of Farmville and Western Pitt County from colonial times to the present. the museum is housed in an 1870s era home and interprets the area’s history through both permanent exhibits and special programs, which are offered periodically throughout the year. The museum is home to an extensive collection of 19th and early 20th century quilts, which are displayed on a rotating basis. Open year round. Free.
