Mayberry Motor Inn
Andy Griffith fans are in for a real treat when they stay at the Mayberry Motor Inn, located along Highway 52 Bypass. Inn keeper, Alma Venable, shares her Andy Griffith memorabilia collection in Aunt Bea’s Room. Ima went to the real estate sale of “Aunt Bea” Francis Elizabeth Bavier and has some of the actress’ personal belongings. A Ford Galaxie squad car sits in front of the inn. Continental breakfast, outdoor pool, and a picnic area are some of the amenities offered to guests.
