Mclean County Museum of History

Listed in the National Register of Historic Sites, the nationally accredited museum is housed in a magnificent old courthouse located in downtown Bloomington.

The Old McLean County Courthouse building is well preserved. It is an excellent example of high style architecture, well executed and constructed of quality materials. It is structurally sound and is capable of long service. The design conveys strong messages of stability, antiquity, and importance. Explore the magnificent architecture of the Old Courthouse and see the spectacular craftsmanship executed in marble, bronze, mahogany, and mosaic tile.
