Mountain Biking / Walking Trails

River Corridor Trails. Nearly five miles of multi-purpose trails and recreation areas can be accessed from two locations: off Browning Parkway south of the Animas River, and at Scott Avenue and San Juan Boulevard, near many of the major hotels

The river parks are a perfect place to take a leisurely walk along the riverside trails. One can also enjoy an informative self-guided wilderness tour.

The Woodland trails are ideal for jogging and bicycling. Two pedestrian bridge crossings and several observation areas provide many opportunities to view the river’s wildlife, including bird watching. A picnic area complete with grills is also available.
