Oregon Trail Wagon Ruts

These ruts are remnants of the Oregon/California Trail pioneers. This route was established in 1842 and was used for more than 40 years. The ruts are visible on the left as you enter the Oregon Trail Park. Approximately 2 miles west at Sheep Rock Point, the trail splits, turning right to Oregon and left to California.
