Outdoor Mural

If you enter Elmwood from the south, one of the first things that will catch your eye is the attractive mural painted on the south side of Lou’s Country Corner. The mural, which was funded through efforts of the Elmwood-Murdock Future Business Leaders of America, show Elmwood, the home of celebrated author Bess Streeter Aldrich, who wrote over 160 short stories and nine novels.
