Petrified Forest Field Institute courses
Located in the beautiful Petrified Forest National Park in northeast Arizona, Field Institutes offer outdoor learning opportunities – the park is the classroom.
Classes will cover geology and paleontology, archaeology, human history and photography in this first season. We hope to be able to offer many more courses and opportunities for exploration and discovery in the coming years.
PFFI provides and opportunity to explore the Petrified Forest with expert guides.

– record rock-art (petroglyphs) on newly acquired park lands
