Pettigrew Home & Museum

Welcome to the Past! Tour the elegant 1889 Queen Anne-style home of South Dakota’s first senator, Richard Pettigrew. The home is arranged much the way it would have looked when Pettigrew lived here. Exhibit galleries tell the story of Pettigrew’s works and of a growing city on the prairie. Take a guided tour of the historic home, or browse the museum galleries and discover the Sioux Falls of the late 1800s.
