Site of the 1999 & 2005 U.S. Open Championships. Donald Ross called it “the fairest test of championship golf I have ever designed.” Players have to drive the ball well and hit long irons well. And, most of all, players must have a razor-sharp short game due to small greens (by modern standards) that fall off around the edge. Opened in 1907, Architect – Donald Ross. 18 holes, par 72.
