Quartz Mountain Trails

Two hiking trails are located near the park office. The New Horizon Trail, a rugged 1/2 mile path, explores the habitats of the mountain and takes the hiker 3/4 of the way up the mountain. Many scenic views of the surrounding countryside can be seen and photographed along the trail. Another trail takes the hiker along a 1/4 mile wooded bottomland stream path where bird and animal signs are abundant.
