Rankin Museum

Housed in the historic Yates Hotel (c. 1927) built by oil tycoon Ira Yates, the Rankin Museum features the restored lobby, original wicker furniture and ceiling fan, pioneer artifacts, a meteorite believed to be a fragment of the one whose crater can be seen between Odessa and Monahans, and a restored 1940 Ford firetruck.
