Hunting is a popular sport in the Satanta area. Pheasant are plentiful in area fields and bring hunters from far distances to hunt in this area. Both upland game birds and big game are also available to hunt during season in Southwest Kansas.

For those who aren’t golfers or hunters, a wealth of recreational opportunities can be found in Satanta. A new swimming pool was built recently, and there are several well-maintained parks throughout town.
