The Sheridan County Fair and Rodeo

Held in Gordon each year on the third week of August, the Sheridan County Fair and Rodeo is the third largest rodeo in Nebraska and highly ranked throughout the western United States.

The Rodeo features bareback riding, calf roping, saddle bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing, bull ridding, steer wrestling, plus the “protector of the cowboy” — the rodeo clown — and is a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys’ Association (PRCA).
