Richardson County

Throughout the seasons you will find Richardson County to be a scenic, enjoyable experience. Travel east along the Missouri River roadways for an ever-changing view of the Missouri River valley. Travel west and you’ll find a variety of rolling hills, bluffs, and masterful scenic views.


While visiting Richardson County in Falls City, be sure to stop in and visit the Richardson County Courthouse which houses our county government and the Richardson County Military Museum. Humboldt hosts the annual Richardson County Free Fair in Mid-September, a week-long festival of carnivals, exhibits, food, and entertainment.


Indian Cave State Park straddles Richardson and Nemaha Counties to the north and offers camping, boating, historical interpretations, hiking, biking and equine trails among some of the most scenic wooded landscapes that follow the course of the Missouri River.
