Aptos 4th of July

Aptos will once again celebrate the 4th of July in grand ole style! The Cabrillo Lions and Britannia Arms will host the Pancake breakfast at 8017 Soquel Drive from 7:00 until 9:00 a.m., the World’s Shortest Parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of Soquel and State Park Drives and continue to the Bay View Hotel. After the parade, bring the family to Aptos Village Park where there will be festivities for all to enjoy. Live Music will be provided by local favorite Mike Hadley and the Groove, and new to the park this year is Isis and the Cold Truth. This Blues and Soul Band have been heard around Aptos and Capitola for some time and have gathered quite a following. The Party in the Park will have plenty of food, games and fun for the whole family. The festivities will be from 11-4 p.m. Donations of $5 for adults are appreciated, children, as always, are free.
