Church Walk
The Louisiana Area Historical Museum hosts the annual Christmas Mid-town Church Walk starting at the Bethel A.M.E. Church. After a 15 minute program at each Church, all “Walk” attendees walk as a group to the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, First Baptist Church, Centenary United Methodist Church, Calvary Episcopal Church, and First Presbyterian Church. After the 15 minute program at the Presbyterian Church, cookies and warm cider is served by the Louisiana Area Historical Museum Board of Directors.
The Church Walk is free, with a one-time passing of a plate for a free-will offering for the Museum. Louisiana Area Historical Museum handles the “Christmas Walking Tour of Louisiana’s Mid-town Churches”, lovingly referred to as “The Church Walk.”
