Flags of Freedom

The Exchange Club of Jackson will display over 1000 – 3×5 American flags to honor important groups: Children who have lost their lives because of neglect and abuse; Military who served and are presently serving; and the First Responders – Firefighters, Police and EMS.

The flags will fly on the grounds of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, on the 45 Bypass in Jackson.

Ceremony will be on the first Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the church grounds. The flags represent the number of children nationwide who die each year because of child abuse, according to the latest statistics, from 2006. The flags also honor our heroes – the service men and women who are serving or have served our country – as well as the first responders, EMS, police, firefighters and medical professionals who keep us all safe. Flags can be purchased online by visiting (www.jacksonexchangeclub.com) or from any Jackson Exchange Club member. The flags will be dedicated in honor or in memory of your hero or heroes.
