Jack-O-Lantern Night

The Freehold Jack-o-Lantern Contest takes place on Saturday evening, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hall of Records plaza on Main Street. Bring your carved pumpkin (along with a small votive candle) to be displayed and judged in age-appropriate categories. The hundreds of jack-o-lanterns cast a lovely light on a great night out in the cool autumn air. There are prizes for all registrants ? and free hot apple cider and donuts and live entertainment — along with a $100 prize to guess the number of candy corns in the giant jar.
