Lancaster Festival

Jul
1–11

Summer’s Sizzling Salute to the Arts. Over 25 years for this world-class music and arts festival featuring the Lancaster Festival Orchestra, conducted by Festival Artistic Director, Gary Sheldon.

Indoor and outdoor venues are used to present 75 artists and events during these ten days, most with free admission. Churches, parks, fairgrounds, city streets, campus venues, historic buildings and the local mall are just some of the locations where the arts are presented to the community.

Historic Lancaster, located approximately 30 miles southeast of Columbus, is the bridge between the dynamic, urban activity of Columbus, and the natural wonders and beauties of southern Ohio. Lancaster has been recognized as one of the nation’s best “small arts towns” because of its active art community and the highly successful Festival.
