Since 1986 the businesses, churches and civic groups of Oriental have joined together to present the “Spirit of Christmas”. For these few very special days, extra efforts are made to present Oriental in its finest holiday array. Over 3000 luminaries line the streets, glowing golden with the warmth of the holidays, lighting a path to tasty treats and lively entertainment.
From New Bern, follow NC Highway 55 East through Grantsboro, and Bayboro to the end of Highway 55.
