Rooks County Free Fair
An outstanding feature of the community is the Rooks County Free Fair, the Fair of Champions since 1879. Large numbers of 4-H, Open Class, and Commercial exhibits show the longstanding pride the County takes in the fair. Besides numerous exhibits, the fair features top notch entertainment, car and motorcycle races, demolition derby, and carnival rides.
