The Burnside Expedition, 1862: A Symposium

Scholars from across the southeast and mid-Atlantic will garther to discuss this often overlooked aspect of the American Civil War. Dr. Richard A. Sauers, a recognized authority on the Burnside Expedition will provide the keynote address as part of the dinner session on Friday evening, February 9. Saturday will include a day of lectures by various experts. Reservations recommended. Admission: $25.00 for either Friday or Saturday sessions or $40.00 for both. Friday 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
