Wessington Rummage Sale Rescue

Inspired by HGTV’s hit show “Flea Market Flip” and sponsored by “SACOTA.”

$20 per team – Find your creative friends and dig deep through the Wessington Springs City-Wide Rummage Sale for a piece of furniture, scrap metal or any item that you can RESCUE and FLIP OUT. Just imagine … the window becomes a coffee table. An old bicycle is used as the base of a table. A crib is cut down and transitioned to a bench. An old door becomes a shelf. Turn an item into something new.

The rules are simple:

7:00 – 11:00 Register your 2 – 4 member team at Shakespeare Garden

Find an item to “RESCUE” at the Wessington Springs City-Wide Rummage Sale.

Take a picture of the item and the person that you bought the item from and send it to Vicki Harmdierks by noon. 605-770-8627

Take at least three additional pictures of the item during the rescue process.

3:30 – Take your “RESCUE” to the tennis court at the city park to be displayed, the items will be auctioned off during the RibFest.

Team members will receive 50% of the sale. Sacota and WS Area Development Corporation will each receive 25% of the sale.

A team representative must be present at the park and during the auction.
