Back in 1919, over 250 acres of grapes were planted in the fields around Salina. In those same fields old riding stables have been converted into a winery. Many of the winery's fine Kansas table wines... Between historical Oakdale Gardens and the Sunset flower beds, the City of Salina plants over 50,000 annual flowers. This magnificent display of color throughout the summer and fall is a Salina tradition that countless citizens have enjoyed for over 60 years.
