Strategic Air and Space Museum The new Strategic Air Command (SAC) Museum stands as a tribute to the men and women of SAC who safeguarded liberty around the globe for nearly 50 years. The story of SAC and its people is preserved for future generations within the wall of this extraordinary Museum.

The Strategic Air & Space Museum is regarded as the nation's foremost facility of its kind and has become one of Nebraska's most popular attractions. The $29.5 million museum opened on May16, 1998, and features a wide range of artifacts and explanations of just how Americans have defended themselves against their enemies over the years.
