Bald Mountain Trail

category : Other Attractions
Bald Mountain's one-mile trail to the summit treats hikers to panoramic views of the Rangeley Lakes region and the Height of Land. These are particularly popular hikes in the fall when Maine's countryside is blanketed in a mosaic pattern of autumn colors. Hikers can locate the trailhead on the Bald Mountain Road, south of Oquossoc. The trail's elevation gain is 1,000 feet.
