"Boomer" Sculpture

category : Arts
Just across the street from where the original land office once stood that registered the claims of anxious settlers who succeeded in the land run is the life-size bronze sculpture of "Boomer."

The sculpture depicts a homeseeker astride his galloping horse, his claim stakes in his hand, making the race for a free quarter section of land or a town lot in the 1893 land run.
