Bosque Memorial Museum

Bosque Memorial Museum displays the largest collection of Norwegian artifacts in the South and Southwest, highlighting the county's unique ethnic groups and early pioneer life. Permanent displays include a furnished log cabin, blacksmith shop, and early kitchen before electricity. As a history museum of Bosque County life and culture, it also includes mineral and fossil collections, farm tools and Indian artifacts. The museum has yearly changing exhibits.

The museum was founded in 1924 and is the recipient of numerous awards. It is one of the oldest museums in the State of Texas
