More than a race - the Adventure Pursuit Triathlon offers adventure for everyone! Choose one of several races at North Bend State Park on July 7, 2007. This triathlon with a twist includes trail running, mountain biking and kayaking. Beginners can give it a try with a short course - 1 mile, 2 mile paddle, and 3 mile bike. If you're up for more, try the torture challenge with a 10 mile run, 6 mile paddle and 20 mile bike. There is also a race for children. It's more than just a race, plan to camp out with the racers Friday and Saturday night. Participate in African drumming around the campfire Saturday night! This is a great family or group event! The triathlon is a fundraiser for a great non-profit, Adventure Pursuit. This group's mission is to make adventure available to everyone - no matter what their challenge may be.
