The Skokie campus is conveniently located in the village of Skokie, 1/4 mile west of Eden Highway and approximately 200 yards north of Skokie Swift, a major train and bus hub. Skokie is a village located in Cook County, Illinois. It is a suburb ofChicago, located 16 miles north - northwest of downtown Chicago. Known as Niles Center for 52 years, Skokie was incorporated in 1888 as a thriving community with many homes, places of worship, schools and shops.
