Every Saturday starting on Memorial Day weekend to October Paxico will host a Farmers Market as well as a Flea Market. It starts at 10am and will be located in the downtown area. Homegrown veggies, farm fresh eggs, crafts, homemade bread, rolls, sweets, herbs, crafts and more.


Vendors interested in setting up a booth should contact Peggy Winkler, the President of
the Association. call 785-6 36-5551and ask for Peggy Winkler, the President of the Association.

The market will be closed during the Meatloaf Festival and the Blues Festival.

Clay County Courthouse

The Clay County Courthouse at Clay Center was constructed in 1900-1901 on land donated in the 1860's for use as a public square by the town's founder, Alfonzo F. Dexter.
