Crawford County Fair

Event Details

Held annually the first full week of August at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. Four-H Clubs, extension homemaker clubs, and agricultural groups display their fruits, vegetables and other homegrown and homemade projects. The livestock auction allows 4-H members to display and sell their livestock. In addition to touring the displays, there is even more family fun at the carnival, rodeo and demolition derby.

The Opus 106 Pipe Organ is a superb mechanical-action pipe organ built by one of the finest organ builders in the world. It arrived on the Pittsburg State campus in March, 1995, and was presented to the university in inaugural festivities, October 1995.
