Old Iron Days

The Wilson County Old Iron Club is dedicated to the preservation of our agricultural heritage through education for all ages. Restoration of early equipment, machinery and “Old Iron” used for functional active demonstrations and displays re-creates rural life of yesteryear. Club activities will prevent the loss of historic knowledge and skills, allowing today’s and future generations to understand and appreciate the roots our society is based upon, for the betterment and benefit of our community.

The education of children in the former ways of farming and farm life is a primary objective of the Old Iron Club and Show. There is something of interest for every member of the family. Many of the demonstrations have hands-on participation.
