Event Details

The Beloit High School has been hosting the Beloit Relays since 1941. With as many as 52 schools attending in the 1960's to the 28-35 schools that have attended recently, this is the largest one-day track meet in the State of Kansas. Outstanding competition in large school and small school divisions can always be expected. Many of the athletes who compete in the Beloit Relays go on to be state champions or compete very well at the state level.

Superior City Park

The City Park, on Highway 14 in the middle of town, was donated by the planner of East Superior, Austin Collette and William Loudon in 1880. The park contains a Chinese cannon which was brought from China by Lady Vestey. The park also has a memorial statue in tribute to our veterans.
