Event Details
Christmas like you've always wished it could be! Even if you didn't grow up with home-town holiday celebrations like this...you will feel right at home with us as we Celebrate Christmas County-wide! 9am.
Always the first Saturday in December, we celebrate in a BIG way! Imagine Main Street lined with beautiful greenery-wrapped lamp posts and free horse-drawn wagon rides, popcorn and cider served on the Courthouse Square, a place to finish up all of your Christmas Shopping (the Marketplace Celebration at the King Center) with hot cocoa and homemade cinnamon rolls; and a Holiday picture of your pets at Santa Paws! Enjoy area eateries at lunch and send your letter to Santa right afterwards. Watch Holiday movies and drop the kids off to do their "shopping" with area elves! (Each child can choose and wrap 2 gifts...with the help of adult "wrappers" at no charge!) End the day with a visit from Santa himself. Please join us!
